A lifestyle shoot in Palma
As a lifestyle photographer in Mallorca, sedcard shoots in Palma are definitely one of my favourite things to do. Today we take you on a sedcard shoot through Palma with the beautiful model Eva Schug. In her case, a half-day package of 5 hours was booked. This package is perfect to implement some ideas in Mallorca:
We started in the early afternoon in Palma Old Town. The small, beautiful alleys of the old town are perfect for commercial lifestyle shots. Especially around lunchtime, it's a great place to shoot, as the alleys offer the perfect mix of sunny and shady spots. Of course, Palma not only has beautiful old alleys to offer, but also a multitude of perfectly designed cafés that are equally suitable for lively lifestyle shots. There are countless possibilities for suitable photo backdrops here.
We continued to the Parq de la mar in Palma for sports shots. The well-kept park offers extensive backgrounds of palm trees and water and gives the pictures a Mediterranean flair.
As soon as the sun was a little lower in the early evening, we went to Palma's harbour. The promenade offers individual backgrounds of small boats and large yachts and gives the pictures a particularly maritime atmosphere.
There are various options for taking advantage of the highly coveted golden/sunset hour at the end of the day: On the one hand, selected boutique hotels are suitable here for pictures by the pool while the sun slowly disappears behind the roofs of Palma. On the other hand, a trip to the beach is worthwhile, as the light of the setting sun can also be used perfectly there. All in all, this was a very successful day with excellent conditions. I think the pictures speak for themselves 🙂
