Frankfurt am Main skyline

The skyline in Frankfurt am Main: it is one of the absolute landmarks and the figurehead of the Hessian financial metropolis. More than a hundred buildings in the city of Frankfurt am Main exceed a height of 22 metres and are thus officially considered high-rise buildings. We simply love drone shots of the Frankfurt skyline.

But Frankfurt does not only owe its unique skyline in Germany to the banks. Trade unions and soap manufacturers have also built skyscrapers here. Nevertheless, even here the tallest skyscraper cannot break any records. Nevertheless, the Frankfurt skyline is the only continuous skyline in the whole of Germany and one of the most striking in Europe.

However, the 32 buildings that are taller than 100 metres are truly characteristic of this unique silhouette. Half of the buildings are even real skyscrapers with a height of at least 150 metres. Today, the Commerzbank Tower, the Westend Tower and the twin towers of the Deutsche Bank are particularly characteristic of the style.

The skyline of Frankfurt am Main can be seen particularly well from the Goethe Tower, for example. This is located in the district of Sachsenhausen and is a wooden tower about 45 metres high. From there you have a wonderful panoramic view of the skyline. The Main bridges are also suitable for a great view, of course.

In addition to the skyline, the newly built ECB building is a real highlight of the city of Frankfurt. The view from the Osthafenbrücke is perfect.

Our drone images from a bird's eye view bring out this beauty even more. Of course, Frankfurt am Main looks particularly beautiful and spectacular at sunset.
