Fashion production in Germany: A look behind the scenes of our production for Brax

Today I would like to present another photo project from Germany. In July this year, we shot the autumn collection for Brax Fashion in my home town of Frankfurt. As we were looking for an autumnal atmosphere for the pictures, a rainy summer day at the beginning of July came in handy.

Brax stands for high-quality, stylish and comfortable fashion and looks back on a long tradition. Founded in 1888 and headquartered in Herford, Germany, the company has developed from a manufacturer of men's trousers into a versatile brand that today offers both men's and women's fashion. We realised our photo and video production in Frankfurt with three models in different autumn looks at carefully selected locations in Frankfurt city centre.

From the idea to the production

A successful fashion production requires careful planning and the right atmosphere to present the fashion in the best possible light. For Brax, the focus was on creating an authentic and stylish transition into the autumn season. Thanks to the urban charm of Frankfurt and the surprisingly suitable weather conditions, we were able to present the new collection with a fresh, natural and modern approach.

The Brax brand message: fashion redefined

Brax's current brand campaign does away with prejudices and fashion clichés: “Mono-look is monotonous” and “Winter fashion is dreary” are two examples that we used as a guide and refuted with our content.

Good locations are key 

Choosing the right location plays a decisive role in fashion production. In Frankfurt, we were able to utilise everything the city has to offer, from elegant buildings and historic alleyways to urban squares. The combination of modern interiors and urban outdoor spaces gave us the opportunity to present Brax's autumn looks in a versatile and expressive way. The influence of the rain in particular created an authentic and unique atmosphere on this day, which fitted in perfectly with the autumnal imagery.

From the careful selection of locations to the final staging of each look, every detail was designed to bring the collection to life. Whether classically elegant or urban and modern, each scene showed the versatility that defines Brax and emphasised the message of the current campaign.
