CEO & PHOTOGRAPHER

My photographic career was already shaped by my two grandfathers in my early childhood, as they were both active in the photography and film industry.
Even as a teenager, I had a few digital cameras that I loved to use to take pictures of my girlfriends.
When I'm taking photographs, I'm virtually in another world and can forget everything around me.
I can spend hours in Lightroom and Photoshop experimenting with colours.
My favourite time to take photos is during Golden Hour, because this light is simply magical.
I'm not a fan of small talk, I prefer to talk about ideas and visions.
I love travelling, especially with photo equipment in my luggage.

This is me - Photographer Frankfurt and Mallorca

I'm Lea, 35 years old and I work as a German personal brand photographer in Germany and Mallorca. Even when I was young, it was clear to me that I would become a photographer. I used every opportunity to do my friends' make-up and take photos. I also spent every free minute with Photoshop to realise my creativity. But it was also a big task to master the possibilities of this software. More than 10 years ago, I decided to become self-employed and have never regretted it. Since then I have been working in the fields of business, personal brand, sedcard and advertising photography.

I am living my dream

Every day I am grateful to work in my dream job and to come into contact with so many great people! I mainly photograph people in their professional roles: Models, freelancers, employees, it doesn't matter! Showing everyone at their best is always my top priority. My aim is not to put the same filter on every picture, but to show each person as beautiful and unique as he or she is. It becomes perfect for me to choose the colours that suit him or her and the chosen setting. I want to help my clients get their message across as clearly as possible with the visual language I choose.

At the beginning of 2023, I finally fulfilled my dream of opening a second location in another country. On my favourite island Mallorca, which I still enjoy very much today! Photographer Frankfurt has therefore also become Photographer Mallorca 🙂

That's why I love Lightroom, which I end up using to edit the drone images.
When I start something, I absolutely have to finish it successfully.
Sometimes I'm a bit too much of a perfectionist.
Image editing and tutorials can therefore last well into the night.
Of course, I also prefer to take photos during Golden Hour.
I am fascinated by foreign countries and languages.
I really like gin and many types of cocktails.
I like travelling by car because I like the independence.
I like to spend my free time doing sports and playing poker or board games with friends.

Lea and I have known each other since 2014 and she quickly infected me with her love of photography. I specialised in videography early on. There are of course many similarities but also important differences. This doesn't just concern the editing of a video, of course, but also aspects such as dynamics and action. Lea and I have become very well synchronised when it comes to editing an image style. Of course, this also means that I regularly familiarise myself with the latest news about equipment and software for editing. Of course, this also includes regulations relating to drones, which have become much more complex in recent years. However, the images and videos that are created with it are always worth every effort. That's why I'm always happy to take the necessary time for this.
